Grand Marais is the Eastern Gateway to the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. The first stop is just 2 miles out of town - Sable Dunes, Sable Lake, and Sable Falls. The park lakeshore spans from Grand Marais to Munising along H58 - there are many hiking areas and sightseeing stops along the highway.
